Host of the JV Team: Jared Valanzola is a lifelong resident of the South Shore. He is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Kingston, and of Bridgewater State University with a degree in Political Science. Jared has worked on numerous campaigns, ranging from Governor to Selectmen. He is currently the Clerk of the Rockland Planning Board and a member of the Rockland Elementary School Building Committee. Jared worked at the State House for former State Senator, and current Mayor of Weymouth, Robert Hedlund. This experience taught him the inside maneuverings of state government and state politics. Jared currently chairs the Rockland Republican Town Committee, is a former South Shore Director for the MA Federation of Young Republicans and former Vice-Chairman of the Plymouth County Republican Club. He is also the Grand Knight of the Rockland Knights of Columbus. An avid sports fan, Jared has held Red Sox season tickets for the past several seasons and loves going to Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins games. He even attended Super Bowl LI in Houston this past February with his parents! He loves the Beatles and will most certainly tell anyone who is listening about the time he met Paul McCartney. As the show begins, he is hoping you will find his insights into every day topics as well as his witty takes to be an enjoyable addition to your evening drive home. Never short on making a self-deprecating joke or two, Jared is very excited to have this show on WATD and hopes you will enjoy what is offered. Jared still lives in Rockland, where he recently purchased a two family home.
